Nagatantien Instant Ochazuke Rice Seasoning – Nori, 4 x 6g New

Make Japanese chazuke in no time at all –sprinkle nori seaweed chazuke seasoning over leftover rice and pour on hot water. Chazuke is a classic quick-cook Japanese comfort dish. We swear by chazuke to help us recover the morning after a sake-fuelled evening, and also enjoy nori seaweed chazuke to soothe for poorly tummies.  

The tasty seasoning mix blends crunchy rice crackers with strips of dried nori seaweed, and umami-rich kelp. Traditionally green tea or dashi stock would be poured over the seasoned rice – and this seasoning includes green tea powder for that extra boost.

You can also use the packet simply to season cooked rice, and without adding the hot water, like furikake. Though use just a quarter of a packet per serving.
